according to Sun Ra “…are the dead bodies of humanity”
Visiting the panel PHUTURAMA at the transenmediale 2010 in Berlin i had to stand Michael Khaimzons talk, jazzin’ out his illmind music about the video game he’s currently developping:
As Michael Khaimzom states, other game developers are not worrying about realism, but his company Crytek is trying to simulate reality as much as possible.(full length of his talk here)
So another Godfather for the sake of Michaels reality might be the Helmet-Based Sniper Location System coming straight from the real world of Institute for Software Integrated Systems (ISIS)
As kind of finish event of the Transmediale, Feng Mengbo finally was scoring my sympathy scores with the production of dead bodies not only of humanity & too much worries about realism: The main character of his game, a red army soldier armed with coca-cola cans, was hurling them against all that could be stereotyped within his modified game of Super Mario levels from street fighters ‘yoga flame’ to aliens first steps on the moon.
